Pulleyn: Church-yard Gleanings
Church-yard Gleanings, and Epigrammatic Scraps by William Pulleyn
This book contains a collection of epitaphs with essays for each one, along with a selection of epigrams. For the Latin epitaphs both the Latin and an English translations are provided. Here is the full title - so charming! "Being a collection of remarkable epitaphs and epigrams compiled from the most ancient as well as modern sources, foreign and domestic, serious and facetious, to which are annexed some observations on churches, church-yards, rites of sepulture, tombs, and mausoleums; with instructions for ascertaining the dates of ancient monuments." There is a table of contents which allows you to quickly browse for persons or places of interest to you.
